How much will the Belgian vignette cost? Full 2027 price breakdown

What Belgium's road vignette costs depends on two things: how long you need it and your vehicle's Euro emission standard. You can choose a vignette valid for 1 day, 10 days, 1 month, 2 months or 1 year.

All the rates at a glance

The price depends on your vehicle's Euro emission standard and on how long the vignette is valid. The cleaner your vehicle, the lower the rate, and that applies to every period, not just the annual vignette.

Euro standard1 day10 days1 month2 months1 year
Zero emission€8.10€10.80€17.10€27€90
Euronorm 4 and higher€9€12€19€30€100
Euronorm 0 to 3€11.25€15€23.75€37.50€125

How to work out your rate

Your Euro standard is listed on your vehicle registration document. The newer and cleaner your car, the lower the price, and that applies to every validity period. A fully electric car pays €90 for an annual vignette and €8.10 for a single day; an older car in the Euronorm 0 to 3 band pays €125 for a year and €11.25 for a day.

When you can buy

The vignette goes on sale on 1 March 2027 and becomes mandatory on 1 May 2027. It is bought online through the official portal and linked to your licence plate.

These are the tariffs announced for Flanders and are provisional pending final approval. Wallonia and Brussels are expected to publish their own arrangements.
